Magical Window Wanderland

Magical Window Wanderland

Help us create Cleethorpes first Window Wanderland

Get involved and help transform the streets of Cleethorpes into a magical Window Wanderland.  Have fun creating an illuminated window display in your home, business or school as the first-ever event of this kind comes to Cleethorpes.

Everyone is encouraged to get involved – from residents and local businesses, to community groups and schools.

The theme to dress your windows in is an ‘Arctic Adventure’.

Successful Window Wanderland events have taken place across the country since 2015, and DiscoverNEL is pleased to bring this event to Cleethorpes for the very first time.

When is it?

Cleethorpes Window Wanderland will take place from Thursday 10 December to Sunday 13 December.  Everyone is encouraged to get involved by lighting up their window with a magical display between 5pm and 9pm, creating an after dark walking trail for the community to enjoy.

Need inspiration?

Keep an eye on the DiscoverNEL Facebook page at for ideas, hints and tips.

Your window can be as simple as a string of fairy lights or a candle in the window or spectacular with colourful images.

The theme for our Window Wanderland is an ‘Arctic Adventure’, so let your mind run free.  Ideas could be the animals that live there, snowy villages and alpine mountains, igloos, skiing, the North Pole and not forgetting the man in the red suit.

You can incorporate Christmas into your design or if you do not celebrate Christmas, there is no reason why you cannot get involved by creating a full arctic winter theme in your window.
